Thursday
The area of low pressure will move north over the North Sea giving a cloudy and murky day for much of Scotland, northern England and north Wales with outbreaks of rain and strong winds in exposure. Further south it will be more dry with some rain in the morning, clearing through the afternoon with some brightness developing. Ireland will see the driest conditions with some bright or sunny spells, the best of these over southern and western counties. Tops in the afternoon at 12-14C over most parts, but up to 17C in southeast England.

Thursday Night
Northern parts will see a cloudy evening and night with some patchy rain, mostly over the eastern counties. Elsewhere it will most probably be dry with clear spells, the longer over Ireland. Breezy in northeast but light winds elsewhere. Minimum temperatures at 10-12C for most, but dropping to 6-7C over Ireland.

Friday
A cloudy morning for Scotland and northern England with outbreaks of rain, this clearing in the afternoon with some brightness developing. Elsewhere the day will be mostly dry with some sunny spells, the best of these over southern England. Thick cloud will edge over western Ireland later in the evening along with freshening winds. Afternoon temperatures at 14-15C over north and west, but 16-17C elsewhere.

Saturday
Increasingly cloudy and windy over Ireland with a band of heavy rain spreading east, reaching Wales, northern England and western Scotland through the afternoon however becoming more light and patchy as it moves east. Southwest England and south Wales will see some patchy rain, but it will mostly dry further east with the driest conditions over southeast England. Later in the evening western Ireland will start seeing dry weather with easing winds. Maximum temperatures at 12-14C over north and west, but up to 18C over southeast England.
