Morning Call - January 14, 2018
Largely cloudy
Becoming windy north-west

Issued: 0530hrs Sunday 14th January 2018
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Some sunshine, but generally dull

Good morning,

A slack pressure pattern influences southern Britain today, whilst a strengthening southwesterly flow affects the north & west.

A little sun may break through in central and southern areas, but many places will stay cloudy. Winds will be very light, and local fog patches are possible for a few hours.

A weak front lingers across northern areas bringing murky skies and local spots of rain. More active fronts then move into the far north-west later, with heavy rain developing into the evening. Winds will strengthen to gale force in exposed northern and western areas.

Today's top temperatures will be near to average, around 4 to 7C, or slightly milder in the far south-west.

Have a great day.
Garry
