High pressure will extend over Ireland with mostly dry and bright conditions for Thursday, with some strong winds in exposure. Further east expect a showery day with showers more frequent over the eastern counties, where several heavy ones are possibly. Through the evening most showers will die away. Temperatures will reach 12-14C in the afternoon over most parts, locally 15C in southeast.

As the high pressure will gradually extend over most areas on Friday, expect settled conditions with bright skies and only a few showers in the afternoon especially over England. Best of the sunshine is expected over southern England. Tops of 14C in north but 16C in south.bly heavy over northern and eastern England. Elsewhere occasional showers with the best of the brightness over Ireland. Maximum temperatures 16-17C over most parts.

Saturday 01/06/2024
Apart from a few afternoon showers mostly over England, the day will be dry and bright with the best of the sunshine over southern England. Over northwest Scotland and Ireland expect some thick cloud maybe with some light rain over the Hebrides. Maximum temperatures at 15C in north, but 18C in south.

Sunday 02/06/2024
A mostly dry and bright day with the best of the sunshine over England. Once more expect some thick cloud over northwest Scotland and Ireland. Breezy in northwest, maximum temperatures at 15-17C over most parts.

Monday 03/06/2024
High pressure will remain over the British Isles with mostly dry and bright conditions with a lot of sunny spells, the best of these in south. Later in the day over the northwest expect a band of light rain to move eastwards over Scotland and Ireland, but drying out once it moves over northern England. Tops of 16-18C over most parts, reaching 20C over the southeast, but up in the Northwest cooler with 14C as a maximum.

As the wind will turn northwesterly it will bring several showers especially over Scotland and Ireland, and some over England and Wales. Best of the brightness over the southeast. Cooler in north with maximums of 12-14C, but 18-20C are expected over southern England.
